Quantum Channel State Masking
نویسندگان
چکیده
Communication over a quantum channel that depends on state is considered when the encoder has side information (CSI) and required to mask from decoder. A full characterization established for entanglement-assisted masking equivocation region with maximally correlated state, regularized formula given capacity-leakage function without assistance. For Hadamard channels assistance, we derive single-letter inner outer bounds, which coincide in standard case of does not depend state.

Channel masking for multivariate time series shapelets
Time series shapelets are discriminative sub-sequences and their similarity to time series can be used for time series classification. Initial shapelet extraction algorithms searched shapelets by complete enumeration of all possible data sub-sequences. Research on shapelets for univariate time series proposed a mechanism called shapelet learning which parameterizes the shapelets and learns them...
متن کاملData masking: a secure-covert channel paradigm
It is well known that encryption provides secure channels for communicating entities. However, due to lack of covertness on these channels, an eavesdropper can identify encrypted streams through statistical tests and capture them for further cryptanalysis. Hence, the communicating entities can use steganography to achieve covertness. In this paper we propose a new form of multimedia steganograp...
متن کاملQuantum Detection and Channel Capacity Using State-Space Optimization
The fundamental performance limits and channel capacity of optical communications systems operating over the free-space channel will be examined using quantum detection theory. The performance of the optimum quantum receiver for on–off keying and optical binary phase-shift keying is first examined as a pure-state (no-noise) problem. The classical capacity of the binary symmetric channel for the...
متن کاملInformation Rates Subjected to State Masking
We consider the problem of rate–R channel coding with causal/non–causal side information at the transmitter, under an additional requirement of minimizing the amount of information that can be learned from the channel output about the state sequence, which is defined in terms of the equivocation E (i.e., the mutual information between the state sequence and the channel output sequence). A singl...
متن کاملOn The Secrecy of the Cognitive Interference Channel with Channel State
In this paper the secrecy problem in the cognitive state-dependent interference channel is considered. In this scenario we have a primary and a cognitive transmitter-receiver pairs. The cognitive transmitter has the message of the primary sender as side information. In addition, the state of the channel is known at the cognitive encoder. Hence, the cognitive encoder uses this side information t...
